The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) is an office within the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources that is leading the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) and serves to deliver renewable energy across the Kingdom. REPDO set the process and prepare study packages align with the international best practices to provide bankable pre-development for potential developers. The aim of the Technical Development to provide certainty to investors and deliver lower multi-billion dollar projects cost to minimize the level cost of energy (LCoE). To approach that, de-risking the project would be essential to reduce the proposals cost from the bidders which will reduce eventually the LCoE.
