Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft types.
  • Diagnose and address mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to Transport Canada regulations and safety standards.
  • Compose technical reports;
  • Verify the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft, ensuring compliance with the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and the company;
  • Be willing to travel across Canada and occasionally to other countries.
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Ability to use basic and advanced measurement and inspection equipment such as calipers, multimeters, dial gauges, and micrometers

Qualifications:

  • Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with a solid background in maintaining different types of aircraft.
  • Certification: general safety certifications,
  • Skills: Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
