Phillips 66 engages in the processing, transportation, storage, and marketing of fuels and other related products. The company operates through the following segments: Midstream, Chemicals, Refining, Marketing & Specialties and Corporate and Other. The Midstream segment gathers, processes, transports, and markets natural gas; and transports, fractionates, and markets natural gas liquids. The Chemicals segment produces and markets petrochemicals and plastics on a worldwide basis. The Refining segment buys, sells, and refines
crude oil and other feedstock at refineries in the United States and Europe. The Marketing and Specialties segment purchases for resale and markets refined petroleum products. The Corporate and Other segment includes general corporate overhead, interest expense, investment in technologies, and other corporate activities. Phillips 66 was founded on April 30, 2012 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
Phillips 66 have 13 refineries in the United States and Europe process crude oil and other feedstocks and focus on operating excellence, optimization, safety and increasing margins. The business has a global refining capacity of 2.2 million barrels of crude oil per day.
