*** Safety Engineer/Safety & Environmental Engineer (Staff) – London ***
ODE has an immediate staff vacancy for a Safety Engineer to be based from our Wimbledon office. They will join on the developing engineer scheme and would be working on live offshore oil and gas development projects.
The Role:
▪ Conduct and safety (or safety & environmental) engineering & reliability studies and analyses in support of project and /or consultancy scopes of work with some guidance.
▪ Provide input and support to ODE AM Operations e.g Safety Case.
▪ Provide input and support to bids/tenders/proposals and ensure timely achievement of safety & environmental engineering related deliverables.
▪ Contribute towards updates to / compliance with the ODE Safety Cases, CMAPP, the ASEMS and all subsidiary SHEQ documents.
Previous Oil and Gas experience is essential along with having a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics (if latter two then post-graduate studies in relevant safety engineering field are normally required).
